Bilt Cash Is Live With More Ways To Use Bilt Rewards

Toni Perkins-Southam

Bilt Rewards has launched Bilt Cash, a new redemption option that lets members customize how they unlock value across the program—whether that’s earning more points, offsetting everyday expenses, or redeeming for travel and experiences.

Now, instead of steering members toward one “best” redemption, Bilt Cash allows you to shift strategies month to month based on what matters most at the time.

What Is Bilt Cash?

Bilt Cash is a flexible rewards currency that works alongside Bilt Points.

Rather than automatically converting rewards into points or statement credits, Bilt Cash provides dollar-for-dollar value for everyday credits, premium experiences, and enhanced benefits that are redeemed directly within Bilt’s program.

The first iteration of Bilt Cash redemptions is live now. Additional options and limited-time promotional redemptions are expected to roll out over time as Bilt’s dining, travel, and lifestyle partnerships continue to expand.

How This Fits With Bilt Milestone Rewards

For longtime members, Bilt Cash may feel familiar. Many of the choice-driven perks that were previously accessed through the former Bilt Milestone Rewards program—such as selecting between earning boosts or lifestyle-style benefits—are now available through Bilt Cash redemptions.

Bilt Cash is earned through the same milestone structure. Every Bilt member—including non-cardholders—earns $50 in Bilt Cash each time they reach a 25,000-point status milestone, with balances unlocking automatically once that threshold is met.

Rather than unlocking a fixed perk at each milestone, milestones now unlock Bilt Cash, which members can redeem when and how they choose.

That flexibility, however, comes with a tradeoff. Bilt Cash adds another layer of rules, caps, and timing considerations to an already complex rewards program. Between monthly limits, status-based perks, and redemptions that don’t go live until later in 2026, understanding the real value of Bilt Cash may require more tracking than some members expect.

    • Everyday spend point accelerator: Obsidian and Palladium cardholders can use $200 in Bilt Cash to add +1x points on everyday spending, applied to the next $5,000 in purchases. The boost expires once $5,000 in spend is reached or at the end of the calendar year. Each cardholder can activate this up to five times per year
    • Resulting earning rates when enabled:
      • Obsidian: 4x on dining or grocery, 3x on travel, and 2x on everyday spend
      • Palladium: 3x on everyday spend

The Bottom Line

Bilt Cash pushes Bilt Rewards toward a more flexible, choose-your-own-value model—but not a simpler one. Members who enjoy optimizing rewards and tracking fine print may find meaningful value in the expanded options. However, others may find the growing menu of credits, caps, and timelines more confusing than empowering.

As with much of Bilt’s rewards setup, Bilt Cash rewards attention. Ultimately, how valuable it ends up being depends less on what’s offered and more on how closely you’re willing to pay attention.
