New Year, New Perks: Breeze Airways Revamps Loyalty Program For 2026

Toni Perkins-Southam

Breeze Airways is starting 2026 with one of its biggest loyalty moves yet. The airline has launched a revamped version of Breezy Rewards that adds elite-status tiers, new perks, and expanded ways to earn and redeem points.

For an airline best known for low fares and nonstop routes between underserved cities, this update signals a shift toward rewarding repeat flyers—not just occasional bargain hunters.

Here’s how Breezy Rewards works now, what changed on Jan. 1, and how to decide if it’s worth chasing.

What Is Breezy Rewards?

Breezy Rewards is Breeze Airways’s loyalty program, built around a simple, revenue-based structure. Instead of earning miles based on distance flown, members earn BreezePoints based on how much they spend with the airline.

Anyone can join Breezy Rewards for free. And once enrolled, members earn points on eligible airfare, fare bundles, and add-ons. Points can be redeemed for Breeze flights through the website or app. In general, points apply to the fare (and eligible bundles), while taxes and fees are paid separately at checkout.

Unlike many legacy airline programs, Breeze keeps Breezy Rewards straightforward.

How You Earn BreezePoints

Breeze ties BreezePoints primarily to spending rather than distance or flight segments.

Flights and Fare Bundles

Points earnings depend largely on the type of fare bundle you purchase. Breeze offers multiple bundles, ranging from basic fares to more premium options that include extras like bags, seat selection, and flexibility.

Higher-tier bundles earn points faster than basic fares. So travelers who consistently book upgraded bundles will earn rewards more quickly.

Add-Ons and Extras

Many airline loyalty programs award miles strictly on base airfare, but Breeze also grants points on select add-ons and bundles—meaning travelers who pay for extras aren’t missing out on earning rewards. These extras include:

  • Checked bags
  • Seat assignments
  • Priority boarding
  • Other extras purchased during booking

Members can earn up to five BreezePoints per dollar spent on eligible fare bundles and select trip add-ons when purchasing those items as part of a Breeze booking.

New in 2026: Breezy Rewards Status Tiers

The biggest change to Breezy Rewards in 2026 is the introduction of elite status tiers. Previously, the program focused solely on earning and redeeming points. Now, Breeze is layering in benefits designed to reward frequent flyers with perks that make travel easier and more comfortable.

Breezy Rewards Status Levels

Breezy Rewards includes four elite tiers, all earned based on the number of qualifying BreezePoints you earn in a calendar year:

  • Breezy 1: 15,000
  • Breezy 2: 30,000
  • Breezy 3: 60,000
  • Breezy Club: 120,000

As you move up each tier, you unlock additional benefits, bonus earning potential and service perks.

How To Qualify for Breezy Rewards Status

Breezy Rewards status is earned based on how many BreezePoints you accumulate from qualifying spend within a calendar year. That means status isn’t tied to flights taken or miles flown, but to how much you spend on Breeze fares and eligible extras.

Qualifying BreezePoints are earned primarily through:

  • Paid airfare on Breeze flights
  • Higher-earning fare bundles
  • Eligible add-ons, such as bags, seat selection and priority boarding

The more you spend—and the higher the earning rate on your booking—the faster you move toward the next status tier. Booking upgraded bundles or regularly adding paid extras can make a difference if you’re aiming for Breezy 2, Breezy 3, or Breezy Club.

Status resets each year.

What Status Gets You

Breeze’s perks may sound modest compared to top-tier benefits at major airlines, but for travelers who fly Breeze regularly, priority boarding and free Wi-Fi can significantly improve the experience.

While benefits increase by tier, some of the most notable perks across the program include:

  • Complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi on equipped aircraft
  • Boarding priority
  • Bonus BreezePoints on qualifying purchases
  • Priority customer support (beginning at Breezy 2)
  • Access to confirmed bundle upgrades

Breezy Select Benefits: Customizable Perks

Once you reach certain status levels, Breezy Rewards introduces Select Benefits, which allow members to choose perks that best match their travel habits. Options may include:

  • Additional bonus points on flights
  • Confirmed bundle upgrades
  • A multi-use buddy discount that can be applied to companion bookings

This flexibility is especially appealing for families or travelers who frequently fly with a companion, as discounts can provide meaningful savings over time.

Redeeming BreezePoints

Because Breezy Rewards is revenue-based, the number of points required for a booking generally tracks the cash price of the flight. That keeps redemptions predictable, though the value you get per point can vary depending on the route, timing, and fare.

To redeem points, members book through Breeze’s “Book with BreezePoints” option on the website or in the app. Points apply to the fare (and eligible bundles), while taxes and fees are paid separately at checkout.

There’s no published award chart to navigate—Breeze prices redemptions dynamically based on the underlying ticket price.

What You Can Use Points For?

Members can redeem BreezePoints toward:

  • Flights booked with points through Breeze
  • Eligible fare bundles, when available

Taxes and fees are paid separately at checkout.

Points can be used to cover the full-fare portion of a booking or combined with cash if you don’t have enough points.

The Breeze Easy® Visa Signature® Credit Card

Breeze’s loyalty refresh also ties closely to its co-branded credit card, which is designed to accelerate earning within the Breezy Rewards ecosystem.

The card typically offers a welcome bonus: Earn 30,000 Bonus BreezePoints after spending $1,000 on purchases within the first 90 days.

Additionally, the Breeze Easy® Visa Signature® Credit Card allows cardholders to earn bonus BreezePoints on Breeze purchases and everyday spending categories. You’ll earn:

  • Up to 10 BreezePoints per dollar spent on Nicer and Nicest fare bundles and eligible Breeze add-ons (combined card + Breezy Rewards earnings)
  • 4 BreezePoints per dollar on Nice fare bundles
  • 2 BreezePoints per $1 on grocery store and restaurant purchases, including in-flight food and drinks
  • 1 BreezePoint per $1 on all other purchases

Cardholders also receive built-in travel perks that align with Breezy Rewards benefits, such as priority boarding and in-flight Wi-Fi.

For travelers who fly Breeze even a few times per year, the card boosts point earnings and helps accelerate progress toward elite status.

BreezePoints Expiration Policy

BreezePoints expire two years from the date they’re earned if they aren’t used. That gives most travelers plenty of time to redeem, but it’s something to keep in mind if you fly Breeze only occasionally or plan to stockpile points for later.

How Breezy Rewards Compares to Other Airline Programs

Breezy Rewards won’t replace large legacy programs for travelers chasing international premium cabins or global partnerships, but that’s not its goal. Instead, Breezy Rewards emphasizes:

  • Simplicity over partnerships
  • Revenue-based earnings with no award charts
  • Tangible perks like Wi-Fi and boarding priority
  • Easy redemptions with minimal friction

Who Breezy Rewards Is Best For

Breezy Rewards is well-suited for:

  • Travelers who fly Breeze multiple times per year
  • Flyers who regularly book upgraded fare bundles
  • Families or companions who can benefit from buddy discounts
  • Those who prefer simplicity over complex loyalty strategies

Tips for Maximizing Breezy Rewards

To get the most value out of the program in 2026:

  • Book higher-tier bundles when it makes sense, as they earn points faster
  • Take advantage of Select Benefits if you qualify, especially discounts for companions
  • Pair flights with the Breeze credit card to stack points and perks
  • Redeem points strategically, watching for flights that offer above-average value

Bottom Line

Breeze Airways’s revamped Breezy Rewards program is a meaningful upgrade that aligns well with the airline’s growing network and loyal customer base. By adding elite status tiers, flexible benefits, and improved earning opportunities, Breeze is making a stronger case for repeat flyers to stay within its ecosystem.

The program won’t compete with legacy airlines on global reach or luxury redemptions—but for domestic travelers who prioritize nonstop routes, reasonable fares, and easy-to-use rewards, Breezy Rewards in 2026 is more compelling than ever.

If Breeze is an airline you already fly—or one you’ve been curious about—the updated loyalty program may be reason enough to start paying closer attention.
