World of Hyatt Launches 2,000-Point Bonus for Under Canvas Glamping

Toni Perkins-Southam

World of Hyatt members looking to try glamping this year have a new incentive to do so. Hyatt has launched a limited-time promotion offering 2,000 bonus World of Hyatt points per eligible night on stays at Under Canvas properties and select outdoor partner properties across the United States. Members can earn up to 60,000 bonus points during the promotion period, giving frequent travelers a chance to collect a sizable stash of points on longer outdoor stays.

The promotion applies to stays completed between March 13 and July 1, 2026, at participating Under Canvas locations and select partner properties. To earn the bonus points, members must register through their World of Hyatt account before their stay.

What Is Under Canvas?

Under Canvas operates a collection of upscale outdoor camps located near several U.S. national parks and scenic destinations. Instead of traditional hotel rooms, guests can stay in safari-style canvas tents that often include comfortable beds, wood-burning stoves, and private decks.

The brand joined the World of Hyatt program in recent years as part of Hyatt’s growing collection of outdoor and experiential lodging partners. These properties offer members a way to earn and redeem points at destinations where traditional hotels may be scarce, particularly near national parks and remote outdoor areas.

Many locations sit just outside some of the country’s most popular parks. Current Under Canvas destinations include camps near Zion, Yellowstone, Moab, the Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park, and the Great Smoky Mountains, among others. The idea is to combine the experience of camping with hotel-style comfort—a concept that has grown increasingly popular in recent years.

How the 2,000-Point Bonus Works

World of Hyatt members can earn 2,000 bonus points per eligible night at participating Under Canvas locations and eligible partner properties.

To qualify, members must:

  • Register for the promotion by June 30, 2026 through World of Hyatt
  • Complete a stay between March 13 and July 1, 2026
  • Book an eligible rate through Hyatt or Under Canvas channels

Members can earn up to 60,000 bonus points total, so the offer is capped after 30 eligible nights.

Eligible locations include all Under Canvas camps, along with additional outdoor-focused properties such as ULUM Moab, Bar N Ranch, and The Fields of Michigan.

While these properties participate in the World of Hyatt ecosystem, stays operate a bit differently from traditional Hyatt hotel stays. Standard elite benefits typically don’t apply at these properties, although members can still earn base points on eligible spending.

Stack With Bonus Journeys

Travelers staying earlier in the promotion period could potentially stack this offer with Hyatt’s current Bonus Journeys promotion. For example, a three-night stay during the overlap period could earn 6,000 bonus points from the Under Canvas promotion plus another 3,000 bonus points from Bonus Journeys.

A Small Bonus for a Unique Stay

On its own, 2,000 Hyatt points won’t cover a free night. But earning 2,000 points per night can add up quickly on multinight stays, especially for travelers planning national park trips or longer outdoor getaways.

Because Under Canvas often spans several nights, you could easily earn 8,000 to 10,000 bonus points on a trip.

The timing of the promotion also aligns with peak travel season for many outdoor destinations. Spring and early summer are popular times to visit parks like Zion and the Grand Canyon, before the hottest weather arrives.

For World of Hyatt members interested in trying glamping, this promotion adds a meaningful points bonus while experiencing one of Hyatt’s more unique lodging partners.
