Increased Offer on the World of Hyatt Credit Card

Pam

The World of Hyatt Credit Card is a keeper card that many Hyatt fans get value out of year after year. This card rarely has an elevated welcome offer, but that just changed. So it may be time to consider this card if you don’t already have it.

The newly elevated offer is two-tiered:

  • Earn 45,000 points after spending $5,000 in the first 3 months.
  • Earn up to 30,000 more Bonus Points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 spent.

This offer is not available to you if you currently have this card or have received a new cardmember bonus on this card within the past 24 months.

While this offer is better than the old one, we were hoping to see a much higher offer to offset the points-cost increases given the changes made to the World of Hyatt program in May 2026. But even so, given the ability to earn more points on Hyatt stays, I would consider this offer if I didn’t already have the card.

Annual Fee and Benefits

The annual fee for this card is $95. For that, you get some solid benefits if you’re a World of Hyatt fan, including:

  • A Category 1-4 free-night certificate every year after your card’s anniversary.
  • A Category 1-4 free-night certificate if you spend $15,000 in a calendar year.
  • Five qualifying nights toward status every year.
  • Two additional nights toward status for every $5,000 you spend on the card.

Bottom Line

While this is a keeper card for all of us Hyatt fans, this welcome offer may not be the best choice for everyone. Let us know if you’re applying.
