Bilt Rent Day is a monthly promotion from Bilt Rewards that happens on the first of every month. It gives Bilt members the chance to earn extra rewards, bonuses, and special perks. Now that more and more people are applying for the Bilt credit cards, we will highlight what you can expect each Rent Day.

 

Status-Based Transfer Bonus

For the first time, Bilt is offering a transfer bonus to members based on their elite status when they transfer points to Japan Airlines’s loyalty program with a 1:1 ratio, JAL Mileage Bank, on March 1, 2026.

Here’s how the transfer bonus will work based on your Bilt elite status:

• • Blue: 25% bonus (1,000 Bilt points = 1,250 JAL miles)
  • Silver: 50% bonus (1,000 Bilt points = 1,500 JAL miles)
  • Gold: 75% bonus (1,000 Bilt points = 1,750 JAL miles)
  • Platinum: 100% bonus (1,000 Bilt points = 2,000 JAL miles) 
  • Bilt Cash Upgrade: Members can use Bilt Cash to temporarily upgrade their status for $135 and access a higher tier promotion.
    • Platinum members will have an upgrade offer of 125%.
    • Members can only access one tier up (i.e., Blue → Silver).

• IMPORTANT: If your JAL Mileage Bank account is less than 60 days old, there will be up to a 7-day hold before you can use JAL miles to book travel.

Members must transfer points to JAL Mileage Bank on March 1, 2026 to receive the benefit. If members attempt to make transfers before March 1, a warning will pop up. The option to upgrade your status with Bilt Cash will also be available on March 1. 

 

Earn Double Points with the Bilt Cards

Members with the Bilt Blue Card, Bilt Obsidian Card, or Bilt Palladium Card will also earn accelerated points on their everyday spend (excluding housing payments) on March 1, 2026.

• Blue cardholders will earn:
  • 2x points on everyday spend (regularly 1x points), up to 1,000 bonus points.
• Obsidian cardholders will earn:
  • 6x points on their selected category of dining or groceries (regularly 3x points),
  • 4x points on travel (regularly 2x points),
  •  and 2x points on other everyday purchases (regularly 1x points), up to 1,000 bonus points.
• Palladium cardholders will earn:
  • 4x points on everyday spend (regularly 2x points), up to 1,000 bonus points.

The double points period starts at 12:00 AM ET on March 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM PT on March 1, 2026.
