Delta Credit Card Offers

Pam

Thanks to a Doctor of Credit post, my husband and I each just got a new Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card. Both were NLL (No Lifetime Language) offers. Here’s how it went.

I logged on to my Delta account and saw the following:

When I hit “continue to offer”, this showed up and I filled out the information.

When I clicked the “view offer” button, I saw both personal and business offers. (Your profile may have to list you as a business owner to see that.)

I filled out the application and was immediately approved (the best feeling)! I repeated the process for my husband, and he was immediately approved, too! Then I messaged Alex and Jess to tell them. Alex was denied, but Mitch was approved. Jess received the 90K offer and was approved, but Ted only received a 60K offer, so she didn’t finish his application.

Why This Matters

I fly to SLC, a Delta hub, often so I can easily use the miles. Additionally, cardholders get 15% off on award redemptions. I used to have that benefit, and I miss it as I haven’t had a Delta card for a while. Additionally, the annual fee is waived the first year. Also, in the rare case where I want to check a bag, it will be covered, and now I will get priority seating again.

Even better, I am at 5/24 and needed a new card, and, since this is a business card, it won’t add to my 5/24 status.

Delta has great flash sales that I can use these miles on. You can tailor these from your city or look from a different city. I have found some great deals to London a few times.

This is a great round-trip deal from Denver (my airport) to London in the main cabin.

Bottom Line

Your mileage may vary on this deal, but if you snag the offer, it is a great way to earn more miles, especially if you live in a Delta hub. Getting two immediate approvals made my day!

Thanks for this post. I have been eyeing this offer too. Did this card show up as a hard pull on your credit? My last amex did not show up and I’m trying to go 90 days without opening a card to try for the Capital One Spark Cash. Thanks for your insight!
