Hyatt All-Inclusive Resort Stays With Points

Pam

Using points to redeem free nights at Hyatt all-inclusive resorts can be a great redemption. Whether you are booking with points earned from one of the Hyatt credit cards or a Chase card that earns Ultimate Rewards®, you are bound to get good value.

There are two Hyatt credit cards, the personal card_name and also the card_name.

Several Chase credit cards earn Ultimate Rewards®. These include:

  • Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve®
  • Ink Business Cash® Credit Card
  • Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card
  • Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card

You can transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards® to select partners, and Hyatt is one of them. It is one of our favorite ways to use those points because your points can go far with Hyatt and its low-priced award chart. We loved the Hyatt Ziva Cancun and Hyatt Zilara Cancun, but there are others good options, too.

Hyatt Ziva Resorts

The Hyatt Ziva Resorts are for people of all ages. Even though we went for our first time with our children, it is a great place for an adults-only stay, too. You can certainly get plenty of quiet time even if you are at a family-oriented place.

Locations of Ziva resorts and their Category classification include:

  • Montego Bay, Jamaica – Category E
  • Cancun, Mexico – Category F
  • Los Cabos, Mexico – Category E
  • Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Category D
  • Cap Cana, Dominican Republic – Category F

This includes accommodation, food, and drinks for two people. Each additional person costs more points per night. You also have the option to pay cash for your extra person instead of points—contact the hotel for details on that.

Hyatt Zilara Resorts

Zilara resorts are Hyatt’s adults-only resorts. We stayed at the Cancun Zilara, and we actually preferred the Ziva. The Jamaica and Dominican Republic Ziva and Zilara resorts are right next to each other, so as an adult, you can go back and forth between the two properties. The Cancun locations are not right next to each other, so you can’t bounce back and forth.

Locations of Zilara resorts and their categories include:

  • Montego Bay, Jamaica – Category E
  • Cancun, Mexico – Category E
  • Cap Cana, Dominican Republic – Category F
  • Riviera Maya, Mexico – Category C

Not only are meals included at the Zilara and Ziva resorts, but also daily activities, nightly entertainment, and great fitness facilities.

Hyatt Miraval Resorts

Hyatt Miraval Resorts are all all-inclusive resorts that can be booked with Hyatt points. They are high-end spa resorts that are dedicated to wellness and balance. Located in three different cities, they are true experiences, and the people who go there talk about them forever. These are the three Miraval Resorts by Hyatt:

  • Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona
  • Miraval Austin Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas
  • Berkshires Miraval Resort & Spa in Lenox, Massachusetts
  • Miraval the Red Sea in Shura Island, Saudi Arabia

The Miravel BOGO night (buy one, get one free) is a popular World of Hyatt Milestone Reward earned at the 100-night threshold. If you can catch a BOGO, it makes it so much more affordable. Another thing to note—you will need to call to book this; it can’t be done online.

Your meals and many activities are included with your stay. Award stays also come with a $175 per person, per night credit on normal award stays. With the BOGO stays, it only applies to the night that isn’t the “get one free” night. Those credits can be used for massages, private classes, and select activities that aren’t complimentary.

This is definitely on my radar. I plan to use some of my Hyatt points to check out this zen-like experience at Miraval.

Other Brands

This group of all-inclusive hotels includes Breathless Resorts and Spas, Dreams Resorts and Spas, Secrets Resorts and Spas, Sunscape Resorts and Spas, and Zoëtry Resorts and Spas. I love the fact that these five brands mean there are five more brands to stay at, which makes it even easier to earn a Hyatt Brand Explorer Award.  I look forward to trying some of them.

Bottom Line

Hyatt has a line of some pretty amazing all-inclusive resorts. Being able to use Chase Ultimate Rewards® to transfer points to Hyatt makes it much easier to stay at several of its properties. I can’t wait to go to some more of them because the Hyatt all-inclusive resorts using points that I stayed at were worth every cent—I mean, every point!
