Pam
Let’s discuss Delta Airlines and its credit cards. Personally, I really like Delta. Their seats are super-comfortable, and I fly them so I can use the Delta Sky Club® lounges! I get to visit Delta Sky Clubs almost anytime I fly Delta, thanks to card_name.
Delta Airlines’s frequent flyer program is the SkyMiles® program, and you can sign up for a free Delta SkyMiles® account. I recommend doing this as it greatly increases your odds of getting targeted welcome offers. Delta is part of the SkyTeam Alliance along with:
If you live near a Delta hub and fly Delta Airlines often, consider whether a Delta credit card could be helpful. They are all offered by American Express®, so they are subject to the once-in-a-lifetime welcome-offer rule. That is why you want to look into them when the welcome offer is elevated. Consider opening a Delta business card if you have a small business and are concerned about adding to your Chase 5/24 count.

The Delta SkyMiles® Blue American Express Card is the no-annual-fee Delta card. It is a good option if you want to downgrade one of your Delta cards that has an annual fee. Please note that you will not receive a welcome offer when you downgrade.
Key Perks: Earn 2 miles per dollar spent on dining and Delta purchases, receive 20% savings on in-flight purchases, and access to “Pay with Miles” to reduce the cost of flights.

Limited-Time Offer ending 4/1/2026. The Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card is our top choice for people who are new to Delta cards. The welcome offer on this card fluctuates. I would recommend considering this card if the welcome offer is 60,000 miles or more.
You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this card, the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, or previous versions of these cards.
That means this should be the first Delta card you start with if you want to continue exploring other Delta credit cards later on, or you could be out of luck with the other ones.

One of the best ways to save money on Delta Airlines flights is to check their SkyMiles Award Deals. Flash sales are the perfect way to book a flight, whether you want to use a few miles to get somewhere or spend less cash. I mean, who doesn’t love a good sale?
Did you know that American Express Membership Rewards® is a transfer partner with Delta Airlines? This is my favorite way to get more Delta SkyMiles®. I have a lot of Membership Rewards® and transferred some to Delta when I went to Maui. Gotta love a good credit card with transferable points!

I flew home from Maui on Delta Airlines using SkyMiles®!
Delta Airlines is a great choice for travel. The seats are comfortable, the staff is friendly, and there are numerous ways to utilize SkyMiles®. I have taken great advantage of Delta Airlines credit cards for some great flights.
