The Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card is a great mid-range Delta card option. If you have more premium Delta personal cards, such as the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card or the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, you will be ineligible for the welcome offer on the Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card. With this card, you’ll earn 3 miles per $1 spent on Delta purchases and hotel stays made directly with the hotel, 2 miles per $1 spent at restaurants worldwide, including takeout and delivery in the U.S.and at restaurants, and 1 mile per $1 spent on all other eligible purchases.
