Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LGA

Pam

I just spent a delightful hour at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LaGuardia Airport (LGA). I love flying into LGA when I go to New York City anyway, because it is a closer drive to get into the city, and this lounge makes LGA an even better idea. This lounge is next door to the American Express® Centurion® Lounge, so I had choices. I think I made the right one.

My first impression was that the décor was beautiful and modern. This lounge opened in 2024, so that makes sense. It is located post-security in LGA’s Terminal B and spans 22,000 square feet. There are multiple seating areas, and we had no trouble finding seats at peak travel time on a Wednesday afternoon.

The first thing you notice walking in is that it doesn’t feel like a typical airport lounge. It’s not rows of identical chairs and sad buffet trays. The space feels open and comfortable, and it has different types of seating areas. Want to get work done? There are plenty of tables and outlets. Want to zone out before boarding? Grab a soft chair away from the main bar area. We loved the conversation area on the second floor.

Highlights of the Lounge

Family Friendly

There is an area for children to play and seating for their parents. The kids’ area gives families with small kids a dedicated place to set up camp, which honestly benefits everyone. It isn’t just a random corner with a couple of chairs—it’s a real spot where kids can play and burn off energy. There are games, activities, and seating sized for kids, so they have their own zone. Parents get a bit of breathing room, and kids get a place that feels designed for them. Additionally, you can order kid-friendly food in the dining areas, such as chicken nuggets.

Seating Areas

One thing I appreciated was how the lounge works for different types of travelers. Besides the kids’ area, there are areas where people tend to focus on work, and quieter spaces if you want a break from noise. It never felt chaotic, even when it was busy.

Access

If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve® or a Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, you have unlimited visits each year and up to two guests can enter for free with you. If you have Priority Pass membership, you get one free visit each year. During peak times, you might wait a bit, but once inside, the crowd control feels better than most lounges I’ve been to.

Food

There is a nice buffet, but what takes it over the top for me is the ability to order freshly-made food via a QR code. Burger and fries? Always a winning pick!

The buffet had many well-presented options.

Facials

Have a little more time to spare? Book a complimentary facial as soon as you get to the lounge!

Next time, I’m booking a facial!

Bottom Line

This lounge makes flying out of LGA even better. It’s not just a place to kill time (like some lounges are). It’s a place you’d actually choose to hang out. If you’re into points and perks, this is one of those lounges that you’ll enjoy.
