Rakuten just announced a Big Give Week, which will be running from May 4th through 11th. Rakuten Big Give Week is a major promotional event where shoppers can earn rewards on purchases from hundreds of partner stores. It’s one of Rakuten’s biggest deal periods, designed to reward users for everyday online shopping.
During Big Give Week, cashback rates are boosted well above normal levels, meaning you can get a higher percentage (15%) of your money back when you shop through Rakuten’s platform. Retailers across categories like fashion, electronics, travel, and more participate in the event. This is my signal to stock up on things that I need anyway!
This could mean more points for those of us who have linked our accounts to American Express Membership Rewards® or Bilt.
What are you waiting for? Join, spend $50 within 90 days, and get $50 back by using our link! That’s 5,000 Bilt points that you could then transfer to a partner like Hyatt if you link to Bilt like I have done.
Here’s the simple breakdown:
Sign up using a referral link.
Make qualifying purchases totaling the required spend. (Check current terms.)
Earn a $50 cash back bonus on top of your regular cash back.
Once your cash back is confirmed, Rakuten pays out quarterly via PayPal or check. No hoops, no minimums to redeem. Even better, link your Rakuten account to your Bilt or American Express® account, opt in to one of those options for your payouts, and earn your favorite points instead of cash.
If you need a referral to get started, here’s ours. Once you get an account, share your referrals with family and friends!
There isn’t a complete list of all the merchants participating next week, but I did take this screenshot showing some of them. Which ones interest you?

My favorite way to shop is online. I also love to earn points, so this coming week at Rakuten is a win-win for me! I plan to:
