New Venture X Business Welcome Offer: Up to 300,000 Bonus Miles

Capital One has launched a limited-time welcome offer on the Capital One Venture X Business. New cardholders can earn up to 300,000 bonus miles and a $1,000 Capital One Business Travel credit.

The offer has two spending tiers:

  • 150,000 bonus miles after spending $40,000 within the first four months of account opening.
  • An additional 150,000 bonus miles and a $1,000 travel credit after spending $120,000 total within the first four months of account opening.

The full 300,000-mile bonus is worth $3,000 when redeemed toward eligible travel purchases. Add the $1,000 Capital One Business Travel credit, and the welcome offer provides at least $4,000 in potential travel value. You could get even more value by transferring your miles to Capital One’s airline and hotel partners, depending on how you redeem them.

Of course, there’s a significant catch. You’ll need to spend an average of $30,000 per month for four months to unlock the full offer. That’s a substantial amount of spending, even for a business card. Still, businesses that can meet the lower $40,000 threshold can earn 150,000 bonus miles without pursuing the full offer.

The promotional $1,000 travel credit must be used through Capital One Business Travel and expires 16 months after account opening. Capital One hasn’t announced an end date for the welcome offer.

Existing Cardholders Can Earn a $500 Travel Credit

Capital One is also rewarding eligible existing Venture X Business cardholders with an anniversary promotion.

Cardholders who held the card before September 27, 2026 can qualify for a $500 Capital One Business Travel credit after spending $3,000 on eligible bookings through Capital One Business Travel between September 30 and December 15, 2026.

The promotional credit is separate from the card’s standard $300 annual travel credit, making this a potentially valuable opportunity for businesses with upcoming travel expenses.

Since not all existing cardholders are eligible, check your Capital One account or promotional emails before making bookings specifically to earn the credit.

Venture X Business Card Benefits

Beyond these anniversary promotions, the Capital One Venture X Business has several ongoing perks that help offset its $395 annual fee, including:

  • Unlimited 2x miles per dollar spent on everyday purchases.
  • 5x miles per dollar spent on flights and vacation rentals and 10x miles per dollar spent on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel.
  • A $300 annual Capital One Business Travel credit.
  • 10,000 anniversary bonus miles each year, starting with the first account anniversary.
  • Complimentary access to Capital One Lounges and Capital One Landings.

Bottom Line

Capital One’s third-anniversary promotions offer some impressive value, particularly for businesses that can meet the welcome offer’s hefty spending requirements.

For existing cardholders, the additional $500 travel credit could be an easier win, provided they qualify and already have business travel plans. Just be sure to meet the December 15 deadline.
