I love Air France and KLM for getting to Europe on points and miles! One reason is the Flying Blue Promo Rewards that come out on the first day of every month. Check out my post detailing the four reasons I love Air France. These are such good deals, so I will update this post monthly to let you know the best Flying Blue Promo Rewards. Book in January and pick your travel date until June 30, 2026.
Additionally, every point earned through currency transfers to Flying Blue makes it easy to accumulate points and miles that can be used to book these promo rewards.
Here are the current deals for long-haul flights to and from Europe. Taking advantage of these promos is a huge help for families booking travel! And these deals include connecting flights in Europe, as well, so you don’t have to choose Paris or Amsterdam as your travel destination—you could just connect there and get this deal, too.
Normally, Flying Blue’s promo rewards routes can be booked in both directions, but this month we’re seeing a new option for the first time: a one-way promo reward route, from Europe to Atlanta (but not from Atlanta to Europe).

To book, log in to your Air France account and look at your preferred destination. Let’s take a look at a flight in premium economy from Chicago to Amsterdam. To display a 30-day calendar on the site, leave your dates blank during the search. There are many flights available for that 30,000-mile promo route.

While we’re showing Chicago to Amsterdam here, it’s just an example. You can also connect through Amsterdam to another European city at the same discounted points price by putting that city as your destination, versus simply ending your itinerary in Amsterdam. In this instance, I changed my destination to Milan.

If you plan to travel in economy or premium economy (and sometimes even business class) and want to go to Europe, you can’t beat the monthly Flying Blue Promo Rewards! They are among the best deals available, so we will update this post monthly. Let us know what crazy good deals you can book!

Aloha – what’s the best airline for using points to get from US to CDG or FCO? Thanks
Air France is great for getting to CDG, especially with the promo rewards. From CDG, you can take a cheap European carrier to FCO.
Have you ever had trouble booking through the Air France website? I just transferred over a bunch of points to book a flight and now the website won’t let me book without calling the service line. And I keep getting disconnected. Has that ever happened to you?
Try a different browser – I have problems with Safari but not Chrome.
I have been having the same situation with KLM’s website. I transferred points and now I feel the points are trapped as I can’t look see many point redemptions.
Try another browser or give them a call!
Thank you for your posts!! What’s the cheapest way to get to anywhere in Spain from the US? I’m in Vegas but can position 🙂 business class preferably & using chase points
BOS has cheapest route to BCN typically.
Are these deals still active? Trying to get me and my fam of 5 to europe this summer with amex points transfering to flying blue
Always double check on the Air France site that you see the awards you want before transferring. New promos come out 3/1.

Hi there
what is the best way to get to London or Scotland from Houston? Congrats!!
Thanks!
There are a ton of options – I would look at a search engine. I know that Jess love Singapore from Houston to Manchester and then takes the train to London or Scotland. In fact, she is doing that this week!
Does kid any additional 25% on top of the promotional price? I was told not by the agent.
The answer has been yes but I just tried an online booking and it didn’t go through. Wondering if they changed that when they devalued awards slightly?
I am having the same issue when trying to book my family. All the points prices are the same regardless of age. I called customer service and she said the 25% child discount doesn’t apply to the promo rewards and never has….I may try calling again.
We’ve taken that info off the post, as I guess they have changed that deal since the devaluation.
So, if I want to travel from SLC to Rome this coming September/October, I should wait until April or May to book?
There is no guarantee that that route would be on an April or May promo. In fact it would be rare. However, by positioning to another US city, you could get to Europe (maybe Rome) for a Promo Reward. I’d start looking using pointsyeah.com for flights now if you are hoping to fly out of SLC though.
