If you’re an IHG loyalist, have a seat because there is a lot to unpack today. Chase and IHG just overhauled their co-branded credit card lineup, including a brand-new $350 premium card and major changes to the existing cards.
The biggest news is the new IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card. For its $350 annual fee, the card comes with:
You’ll also get an anniversary free night worth up to 60,000 points, automatic Platinum Elite status, and 20 Elite Night Credits each year.
The card earns up to 28x total points on IHG stays when you factor in IHG One Rewards earnings, 6x on dining and other travel (including rideshare), and 3x everywhere else. The fourth-night-free perk on award stays is included, too.

The IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card now carries a $150 annual fee for new applicants and adds up to $100 in annual IHG Food & Beverage Rewards and a $100 annual airline statement credit. Its anniversary free night increases in value to 50,000 points, and cardholders receive 15 Elite Night Credits each year, though automatic status drops from Platinum Elite to Gold Elite.
The no-annual-fee card is changing, too. The former IHG One Rewards Traveler Card is now the IHG One Rewards Credit Card, with Silver Elite status and five Elite Night Credits each year. But now you’ll need to spend $5,000 on the card to unlock the fourth-night-free benefit.
The IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card now has a $200 annual fee for new applicants and adds up to $100 in annual IHG Food & Beverage Rewards, a $100 annual airline credit, and Expensify credits.
Existing cardholders should hear from Chase in October about when their new benefits take effect. Their annual fee changes won’t kick in until 2027.

There’s a lot changing at once, but the headline is pretty clear: IHG now has a true premium credit card, while Chase is reshuffling benefits and raising some annual fees across the rest of the lineup.
