Hotels With Water Parks Using Points

Megan

If the thrill of a water slide or the delight of a splash pad is on your kids’ vacation wish list, there are many points-bookable hotels that have their own water parks. From Cancun to California, there’s a points property that will help your water babies burn off their energy during your next trip.

If you’re considering taking the family to one of these properties (or any water park resort), always contact the hotel in advance to verify any height or age requirements, as well as the operating dates and hours. Not all water parks are open year-round.

The water parks in this post were verified in September 2025. If you’re reading this later, be sure to verify the property you’re looking at still has a water park. Read on to learn where to go and how you can book!

Hilton: The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton

Everything is bigger in Texas, including the more than 1,000-foot lazy river at the Forest Oasis Water Park and Lazy River in The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton. This property isn’t just a water park, though; it also offers golf, tennis, pickleball, outdoor pools, a fitness center, and restaurants.

Since this resort is a Hilton property, the points price varies. I’ve found standard award availability for as low as 51,000 points. This property is bookable next Memorial Day weekend for 70,000 points per night. If you have Hilton status and can stay for five nights or more, your fifth night is free on an all-points booking.

Hyatt

The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is a popular choice with families in our Facebook group and the points-and-miles community in general—for good reason. This resort offers the gorgeous beaches you’d expect from the Bahamas. You’ll also find many pools, sports activities, a spa, and 45 dining options!

Adjacent to the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar (and included for hotel guests) is Baha Bay at the Baha Mar water park. This impressive water park has a surf simulator, 24 slides, a water battle zone, a kids’ island, and more.

This property is a Category 7, which means a standard room will cost between 25,000 and 35,000 points per night. I found availability in a two-queen room next Memorial Day weekend for 35,000 points per night.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Hyatt Regency Hill Country, and Hyatt Regency Lost Pines have all been popular properties among Points Talk Squad travelers.

IHG: Kimpton Seafire, Grand Cayman

Alex, Pam, and Jess love the Kimpton Seafire for a luxurious stay in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. It’s also a hit in our Facebook group. This hotel is on the gorgeous Seven Mile Beach and has a luxurious spa.

The Seafire is also kid-friendly. SPLASH at Seafire is the property’s water park, open for kids 12 and under. With water slides and splash pads, your little ones will enjoy a fun-filled day in paradise.

The standard room points price for this hotel is typically 70,000 IHG points per night. Availability can be challenging to find during peak times, such as spring break and the holiday season in December. If you want to travel during high-demand periods, plan to book your trip well in advance.

I found several points rooms available next Memorial Day weekend, for example, at 70,000 IHG points per night. If you hold the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card or IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card, you get the fourth night free when booking with points. So you could book four nights for 210,000 IHG points per room. If you’re short on IHG points, you can often buy them on sale for 0.5 cents each.

Marriott: Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center

If your kids love both water parks and all things Disney, you could use your Marriott Bonvoy points to stay at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. This recently renovated, family-friendly property is conveniently located near Walt Disney World® and Universal Orlando Resort™. (The resort offers shuttle service to all four Walt Disney World® theme parks and Disney Springs). The Gaylord Palms is also home to a three-acre water park with a drop slide, zero-entry pool, racing slides, cabanas, and more—perfect for a fun-filled family day.

Point prices vary here and tend to be expensive during peak times, such as the December holidays. Off-peak, the rates can be more reasonable. Over the next Memorial Day weekend, you could book three nights for 149,000 points for a family room plus a $155 resort fee. For a longer stay, you can earn a free night on points by booking a five-night stay or longer
