Pam’s Top Four Aspirational Flights Booked With Credit Card Points and Miles

Pam

One of the things I’ve enjoyed most since getting into this points-and-miles hobby is all the aspirational flights I’ve taken with credit card points and miles. Yes, business class is ALWAYS incredible, and something I never thought I’d do, but the following flights have taken it over the top!

Singapore Suites from JFK to Frankfurt

My Singapore Suites flight to Frankfurt (on the way to Paris) was a bucket list flight. Having an entire room to myself was amazing. Eating caviar while watching my big screen TV in a huge seat and then going to sleep in my own bed was something I couldn’t even imagine. Yes, I paid a lot of points (143K Singapore KrisFlyer miles), but I would do it all over again! The service offered was phenomenal, and the food was delicious. It was truly a dream.

Qatar Qsuite from Doha to Boston

Alex raved about her Qsuite travel coming back from her Maldives trip, and I was excited to fly it home from my first trip there. A last-minute plane change for our flight left me and the rest of the business-class travelers disappointed when our new aircraft did not have a Qsuite cabin configuration.

Fast forward to my second trip to the Maldives, and my Qsuite dreams came true! I did a last-minute flight change so my husband and I could fly a Qsuite aircraft (and I’m so grateful for points flexibility)! These suites did not disappoint. Great food, great service, and the ability to close our doors to make a private room were the top features of the trip.

Emirates First Class from Milan to JFK

Alex and I planned a trip around availability in Emirates First Class from Milan to JFK. That is how much we wanted to fly this product. And it did not disappoint! Not only was the enclosed suite amazing, but the service, the food, and the ability to shower in the sky were added bonuses. Every little detail on this flight was over the top! We loved our jammies, getting pictures at the bar in the back, and all the little treats and amenities the flight offered. I would 100% fly this again. Unfortunately, this particular product no longer flies from Milan to JFK, so I need to look for another destination.

Etihad Apartments from London to Abu Dhabi

This trip was another one planned without a definite destination in mind. I had heard that Etihad Apartments could be booked from London to Abu Dhabi for 65K Air Canada Aeroplan miles, so I booked a flight the second I saw availability. Then I figured out the exact trip. Originally, it was going to be the Seychelles with my London-based daughter, but we opted to stay in Abu Dhabi for a relaxing trip and some hotel-hopping between two Hyatts instead.

Bottom Line

These are the four most aspirational flights I’ve taken. It required a lot of good luck and timing to find them. While I love these bougie experiences, truly any flight is aspirational if you can get yourself or your family to a destination with almost no cash cost. What is the best flight that YOU have ever taken?
