Transfers are generally at a 1:1 ratio (though some partners use different ratios), allowing you to book award flights and hotel stays directly through partner loyalty programs.

With a little flexibility, you can often get well over one cent per point in value, especially when redeeming for premium-cabin flights or high-end hotel stays.

Other ThankYou®-earning cards, including the Citi Double Cash® and Citi Strata℠, can also transfer points to many of the same partners, but at reduced transfer ratios—in other words, you’ll receive fewer airline or hotel points for each ThankYou® Point you transfer.

Redeem Points by Booking Travel Through Citi Travel

You can also redeem ThankYou® Points directly through Citi Travel for flights, hotels, rental cars, and attractions.

This option is straightforward and doesn’t require learning airline award charts or transfer partners, making it a good choice for beginners. However, it often provides less value than transferring points to loyalty programs.
